Most toys are pretty easy to care for once you know how. Follow the advice below to ensure your new sex toy stays clean and lasts longer.
Washing
Always wash your toys before the first use and after each time you use them. Old habits die hard, try get yourself into a good habit of always cleaning your toy after use. That way, any time you get the urge to give yourself a little ‘me time’, it’s clean and ready for use.

Drying
Allow your sex toys to air dry naturally. Towel drying a toy can be counter productive as with some materials the towel fibres will stick to your toy and render it not fit for use. Never fully submerge any electrical or battery operated toys in water unless the manufacturer specifically states that it is 100% waterproof.
Toys of any material can be used with a water based lube. Silicone lubricant is safe to use with glass and steel toys and also some silicone toys if stated safe by the manufacturer. Silicone degrades silicone, so unless it’s clearly stated on a silicone toy that silicone lube is ok to use, please stick to water based.
Lastly, and most importantly, always use a condom on your toys if sharing with other people.
